Tetrahydrocannabutol (Thcb) is a Homologue of tetrahydrocannabinol (D9-THC). THCb’s 4 carbon side chain demonstrates an affinity for both CB receptors comparable to D9-THC. Because THCb has one less CH3 in the chain, it has a shorter half-life and therefore shorter psychoactive effects. THCb is a naturally occurring cannabinoid testing around 90%.
